September’s goal is Eat More Fish. Aim for adding fish to your diet at least twice a week. Around the world, the healthiest nations are those who eat fish frequently. Fish is a great lean protein, plus it has the healthy omega-3′s, which have been shown to prevent heart disease, reduce odds of cancer, reduce blood pressure, and help control inflammation. Omega-3′s have also been linked to good brain health and help with mental illness such as schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, and ADHD/ADD. So eat up on some fish!
